To ensure you receive the best level of service we have invested in up-to-date technology that allows us to quickly diagnose any problems so we can offer you the most appropriate treatment. Using this technology, we can plan procedures so they will proceed smoothly and comfortably for you. Our equipment includes:

Intra-Oral Camera

This is a great piece of technology that takes detailed photographs inside your mouth. We find this is enormously advantageous as these images can be immediately displayed on the screen in our surgery. Using these photos, we can then talk to you about any areas of concern so you will understand exactly what is going on inside your mouth and can decide on a suitable treatment option.

Digital X-Rays

Our up-to-date x-ray equipment takes incredibly clear digital x-rays that are available for viewing straightaway. Our dentist can make an immediate diagnosis and we can of course show these x-rays to you so you can see what is going on. If necessary these x-rays can easily be sent to another dentist for a second opinion. Digital dental x-rays are very safe and we take every possible precaution while using this equipment. We only take x-rays when necessary and they are extremely useful, allowing us to see areas of infection and decay that are hidden from view.

OPG X-Rays in Noosa & Noosaville

OPG X-Rays

Orthopantomogram (OPG) x-rays are special x-rays showing a complete view of your teeth and jaws in a single image. This allows us to examine the growth and positon of your teeth, including those yet to erupt. OPG x-rays are invaluable when diagnosing problems with your jaw joints (temporomandibular joint disorder) or when assessing wisdom teeth. We also use OPGs when planning orthodontics. All our equipment is maintained to the very highest standards. For information about the technology that we use, please speak to our friendly dental team on (07) 5494 0766. We are located at 2/7 Turner Street, Beerwah QLD 4519.

Air-Flow – Guided Biofilm Technology

AIRFLOW® is a revolutionary, non-contact form of dental maintenance and prevention. It projects a controlled stream of air, warm water and very fine sweet powder onto the tooth and in hard-to-reach areas to dislodge and remove food particles, plaque, discolouration and stains. The high-pressure water/air stream cleans your teeth much faster, efficiently and comfortably than the use of traditional pastes. Traditional methods are often messy, time consuming and can leave you with a not so clean taste in your mouth. Your Hygienist will efficiently remove the plaque build-up with AIRFLOW®. This is a big step in preventing and treating gingivitis (gum disease) and periodontitis, as well as removing stains.
