Easter is a great time for crafting, and there are lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. We’ve listed a few ideas to get you started.
Make an Easter Terrarium
Beautifully shaped glass jars are cheap and readily available, and there are endless ways to decorate them. Make colourful paper nests for cute little Easter chicks, and just have fun with your imagination.
Decorate Your Walls with Embroidery Hoop Bunnies
Get two different sized embroidery hoops for a bunny head and body, and fill them with colourful fabric. A cotton ball makes a great fluffy tail, and you can make a bunny ears out of fabric scraps on stiff card.
Make a Chic Centrepiece
Take a large glass vase and fill it with eggs dyed in varying shades of pink or another Easter colour to create an ombre effect. Add some colourful flowers for a beautiful centrepiece.
Recycle Egg Cartons into Spring Chicks
Individual sections of cardboard egg cartons make beautiful spring chicks. They can be painted up and decorated as a fun Easter craft.
Make an Easter Wreath for the Front Door
Take an ordinary grapevine wreath and customise it by wrapping some of the branch sections with colourful embroidery thread. Hang decorated wooden eggs from the centre to add movement to this door decoration.
