About Dr Regan Leslie
Dr Regan Leslie is the Principal Dentist / Owner at Beerwah Dental on the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Leslie is originally from New Zealand and graduated from the University of Otago in 2009.With over twelve years of experience in private practices throughout New Zealand and Australia and extensive training on several continents, Dr Leslie has accumulated significant knowledge and experience to allow him to focus on comprehensive, complex and interdisciplinary dental treatments for patients here on the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Leslie’s areas of expertise include complex dental rehabilitation for broken down smiles and missing teeth. Aesthetic treatments and smile makeovers. Dental Implant Rehabilitation for both single teeth and fully replacing all teeth in the mouth with fixed and removable options. Invisalign Aligners and TMJ treatment as well as TMJ – Jaw joint trouble.
Dr Leslie accepts patients from throughout Queensland for assessments and care and encourages patients as with all things – not to try to forget about or ignore any problems that you may have. With Aesthetics, TMJ trouble, Sleep Apnoea and Tooth Loss – all things are more easily dealt with at an early stage.

Having honed her skills as an associate dentist in various mixed practices, Dr. Kay possesses an exceptional ability to communicate and connect with her patients, fostering an environment of trust and comfort. Her comprehensive expertise as a general dental practitioner extends beyond routine dental procedures. With a profound understanding of the diverse needs of her patients, she has augmented her knowledge through working with Denplan and private patients, mastering the art of individualized treatment planning. She has also completed Dental Core Training 1 in Oral Surgery and Dental Core Training 1 in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, broadening her capabilities to perform an array of complex procedures..
Driven by a commitment to continuous professional development, Dr. Kay consistently seeks to enhance her skills and stay at the forefront of dental advancements. She has diligently pursued additional courses in areas such as Facial Aesthetics and Intravenous and Nitrous Sedation, ensuring that her patients benefit from the latest techniques and highest standards of care.
Beyond her role as a dentist, Dr. Kay finds solace and fulfillment in her personal pursuits. About Dr Richard Hamilton Johnston
Dr Richard was born in Brisbane. Initially training in the Dental Profession as a Cosmetic Dental Technician employed in Brisbane’s leading laboratories.
Dr Richard was born in Brisbane and educated at the Church of England Grammar School. Initially training in the Dental Profession as a Cosmetic Dental Technician employed in Brisbane’s leading laboratories, working with Brisbane’s top Specialist Prosthodontists.
Richard took a hiatus from the Dental Profession, pursuing his passion of all things Aviation. Richard served in the Defence Forces in Army Aviation, before launching into a career as a Commercial Airline Pilot, both in the United Kingdom and Australia.
Returning to his first love Dentistry, Richard completed his dental training and graduated as a Dentist in 2008. He has a total of over 35 years’ experience in the dental profession being one of only five duel qualified Dentist/Technicians in Queensland.
When asked what he likes about his work, Richard loves meeting great patients and the absolute privilege they have trusted in him to treat their Dental issues.
Richard is married to his wife Andrea, loves sports especially Cricket.

Dr Pat is a passionate dentist that prides himself on the connection he shares with so many of his patients
He takes time to understand your situation and any issues you may have before working with you to decide on any treatment options that might best suit your needs.
Growing up in Santiago, Chile, Pat completed his Bachelor in Dental Surgery, followed by a Master Degree in Education. Interested in all aspects of General Dentistry, he has worked in Private Practice, Public Healthcare as well as Academics.
Dr Pat strongly believes your dental appointment is meant to be a pleasant experience, so he is committed to provide pain free dentistry in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
When Pat is not at work you can find him camping, hiking, pairing some food and wines or most likely doing all of that at the same time.
