Meet the Team – Dr Lewis Fang

Many of our patients will already see Dr Lewis Fang regularly for dental care and are aware that he is a kind and caring dentist in Beerwah. However, you might not know that Dr Lewis graduated with not one but two degrees. Initially, Dr Lewis studied electronic engineering, graduating with his Bachelor of Electronic Engineering before deciding, thankfully for us, that his real interest is in dentistry. Dr Lewis ultimately graduated as a dentist from Griffith University.

After graduating, Dr Lewis was mentored by a well-known dentist in Hervey Bay, gaining useful firsthand experience and furthering his knowledge of dentistry. However, a true local, Dr Lewis soon missed his family and the beautiful Sunshine Coast, moving to Beerwah to be nearer to them.

Dr Lewis enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but he is drawn to the more technical side of the profession and especially likes Oral Surgery. He is completing a residency in Endodontics as he has a particular interest in Root Canal Treatment.

Like everyone at Beerwah Dental, Dr Lewis is committed to ongoing dental education and greatly enjoys learning about recent dentistry and technology advances. Dr Lewis has never regretted studying for that second degree in dentistry and finds meeting patients and having the ability to help restore smiles enormously fulfilling. When not here at work, Dr Lewis loves spending time with his family and enjoying the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
